A practical budget stop, but maintenance and housekeeping need more consistency. a no-frills budget hotel near Casa Voyageurs station, scored for what it is.

Première Classe Casablanca Centre Ville is a no-frills budget hotel best suited to a short stop rather than a leisurely stay. We'd consider it for the convenient access to Casa Voyageurs and the tram, free parking and generally helpful staff. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcome, while the hotel's compact rooms provide private bathrooms and the essentials without much extra comfort.

The compromise is consistency. Recent reviews across several sites mention missing towels or soap, worn bathroom fittings and uneven cleaning; some also report ineffective air conditioning. Breakfast gets both praise and complaints about limited choice. These aren't everyone's experience, but they're recurring enough to matter even at this level. It's a reasonable base for budget-minded travelers spending most of their time out; we'd skip it for a longer stay or if reliable room comfort is the priority.

• Best for: budget-minded short stays; travelers using Casa Voyageurs; drivers wanting free parking

• Watch out for: compact rooms with few extras; inconsistent towel supplies and cleaning; bathroom maintenance and cooling complaints

• Location: Around 1 km from Casa Voyageurs, with convenient tram access; major sights require a longer walk or transport.

• Rooms: Standard rooms start at 14 m²; recent guests report some worn fittings and unreliable cooling.

• Cleanliness: Many guests find rooms clean, but repeated complaints about floors, bathrooms and towels undermine consistency.

• Service: Warm welcomes are a recurring strength, though responsiveness varies.

• Amenities: Free Wi-Fi and parking, a lift and buffet breakfast cover the basics.

• Fees and surprises: City tax is payable at the property; breakfast costs extra unless included in your booking.
