#3 of 8 hotels in Old Medina & Casa Port by Axel's take. Old Medina & Casa Port is #3 of 8 places to stay in Casablanca. The best hotels in Old Medina & Casa Port, ranked · Where to stay in Casablanca

Axel's take: 7.8/10

A convenient city base with comfortable rooms, but uneven four-star finishing touches. a practical downtown 4-star hotel near Casa Port, scored for what it is.

Odyssee Center is a downtown 4-star that works best as a practical Casablanca base rather than a luxury stay. We'd choose it for a short city break: Casa Port, the Central Market and the old medina are within walking distance. Booking.com and Expedia guests generally praise cleanliness, comfortable beds and helpful staff, while recent Tripadvisor reviews reinforce its appeal for exploring on foot.

The trade-off is inconsistent attention to detail. Recent guests across Expedia, Trip.com and Tripadvisor mention tired fittings, shower or drainage problems, and patchy room supplies. Breakfast divides opinion: some enjoy the buffet and omelettes, while others find the choice limited. It's a good fit if location and everyday comfort matter most; we'd skip it for a special occasion where polished service and consistently well-maintained rooms are essential.

Best for: short city breaks; travelers using Casa Port; sightseers exploring on foot
Watch out for: uneven bathroom maintenance; mixed breakfast feedback; inconsistent room supplies
Location: Central and walkable, with Casa Port, the medina and the Central Market nearby.
Rooms: Often praised for space and comfortable beds; some fittings and bathrooms need attention.
Cleanliness: Generally a strength across major sites, despite occasional bathroom-detail complaints.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff earn repeated praise, though follow-through is not always consistent.
Amenities: Restaurant, bar, buffet breakfast and free Wi-Fi cover the city-stay essentials.
Fees and surprises: City tax is payable at the property; breakfast may cost extra, and airport transfers are charged.
