Useful transport links and friendly staff, but housekeeping makes this a cautious short-stay pick. a budget 3-star city hotel near Casa Voyageurs, scored for what it is.

Campanile Casablanca Centre Ville is a budget 3-star best treated as a practical stopover rather than a holiday base. Casa Voyageurs is roughly a 13-minute walk away, with a tram stop closer still. We'd consider it for a short, budget-conscious stay: Expedia guests frequently praise the staff, and the restaurant, gym and free parking cover the basics well.

The drawback is inconsistent room upkeep. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia reviews repeatedly mention stained carpets or worn towels, alongside guests reporting clean, comfortable rooms. Some Tripadvisor guests also describe bathroom mould and maintenance problems. Breakfast earns both praise and complaints, and street-facing rooms can pick up tram noise. Despite the Centre Ville name, the main sightseeing area isn't on the doorstep. We'd skip it if reliable cleanliness or quiet matters more than transport convenience.

• Best for: budget-conscious short stays; travelers using Casa Voyageurs; drivers needing free parking

• Watch out for: inconsistent housekeeping and worn carpets; tram noise in street-facing rooms; not directly in the main sightseeing area

• Location: Around 13 minutes on foot to Casa Voyageurs; Place Al Yassir tram stop is closer.

• Rooms: Functional rooms, but recent guests report uneven maintenance and worn furnishings.

• Cleanliness: Mixed: many satisfactory stays, with recurring carpet, towel and bathroom complaints.

• Service: Frequently praised on Expedia, though Tripadvisor reports less consistent problem handling.

• Amenities: Restaurant, bar, gym, free Wi-Fi and free self-parking; breakfast reviews vary.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast may cost extra; city tax applies, and Booking.com lists a refundable damage deposit.
