Axel's take: 6.5/10

Come for the ocean views, but expect worn rooms and uneven upkeep. a dated 3-star seaside hotel on Casablanca’s Corniche, scored for what it is.

Hotel Bellerive is a dated 3-star on Casablanca’s Corniche, best considered for its seaside setting rather than polished comfort. We'd consider it for a short stay if ocean views and nearby restaurants matter more than modern fittings. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests praise helpful staff, and several recent visitors describe clean, comfortable rooms. The sea-facing terrace is another reason to choose it.

The trade-off is inconsistent upkeep: Booking.com and Expedia feedback repeatedly mentions tired interiors, variable cleaning and cigarette smells. Some guests also report faulty room equipment. A June 2026 guest reported an unavailable pool and neighboring-room renovations, although a July Tripadvisor guest described swimming; confirm pool availability and any remaining work before booking. Beach access may require walking around the building rather than exiting directly onto the sand. We'd skip it if smoke-free surroundings and reliably maintained rooms are priorities.

• Best for: travelers prioritizing ocean views; short Corniche stays; guests comfortable with older hotels

• Watch out for: worn rooms and inconsistent cleaning; cigarette smells; confirm pool access and renovation status

• Location: Seaside Corniche setting near restaurants; do not assume direct beach access.

• Rooms: Traditional furnishings and sea-view options, but recurring wear and occasional equipment faults.

• Cleanliness: Mixed: recent praise sits alongside repeated complaints about cleaning and odors.

• Service: Helpful, welcoming staff are a recurring strength, though feedback is not uniformly positive.

• Amenities: Restaurant, bar, terrace, free Wi-Fi and parking; pool operation needs confirmation.

• Fees and surprises: Check breakfast inclusion; June 2026 room works were reported, but their current status is unverified.
