Axel's take: 7.8/10

A practical central base with welcoming staff, but choose your room carefully. a central 4-star business hotel on Boulevard d’Anfa, scored for what it is.

Barceló Casablanca is a central 4-star business hotel, and we’d pick it for a short city stay rather than a hotel-focused holiday. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable accommodation. The Boulevard d’Anfa location puts restaurants and the Twin Center within easy reach, while the hotel’s restaurant, bar and meeting rooms suit work trips well. Overall, it delivers solid comfort without being a standout four-star.

Room allocation matters: traffic and corridor noise recur in reviews, so request a room away from the main boulevard and elevators. Some guests also describe dated furnishings or maintenance niggles, and breakfast feedback varies. There’s no pool or gym, and the hotel confirms it has no guest parking. We’d skip it for a quiet retreat or a leisure stay built around hotel facilities.

• Best for: business travelers; short city stays; travelers prioritizing nearby restaurants

• Watch out for: traffic and corridor noise; uneven room condition; no pool, gym or hotel parking

• Location: Central Boulevard d’Anfa address near the Twin Center, with plenty of restaurants nearby.

• Rooms: Generally comfortable and often spacious; noise insulation and upkeep vary between rooms.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and many recent guest accounts.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff receive repeated praise, though problem handling is less consistent.

• Amenities: Restaurant, bar, free Wi-Fi and five meeting rooms; no pool or gym.

• Fees and surprises: No guest parking; airport transfers cost extra, and breakfast inclusion depends on the booking.
