Viento Suites Cancún is a simple downtown aparthotel, and a strong pick if you want practical comfort rather than resort extras. Recent Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the cleanliness, helpful staff and convenient access to restaurants, shops and excursion pickups. The small courtyard pool adds somewhere to unwind. For longer stays, we'd choose a one- or two-bedroom suite: the official website confirms full kitchens and living areas, unlike the entry-level studios.

The trade-off is independence rather than full hotel service. Expect self-check-in, no round-the-clock reception and potentially limited English-speaking assistance. Beaches require transport, and upper-floor access involves stairs.
