Axel's take: 8.5/10

A strong family all-inclusive, with standout staff and competition for pool loungers. an upscale, family-focused beachfront all-inclusive in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, scored for what it is.

This upscale beachfront all-inclusive is a strong pick for families who want comfortable rooms and plenty to do without leaving Cancun’s Hotel Zone. Renovated in 2024, it combines waterslides, a lazy river and CAMP Club for ages 4–12 with a separate adults’ pool. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise the cleanliness and warm staff; recent Expedia reviews also highlight spacious rooms and an especially successful kids’ club.

The main compromises are competition for pool loungers and dining that takes some planning. Guests on Tripadvisor and Reddit report early chair-saving and difficulty securing restaurant reservations, while recent Expedia guests mention restaurants closing unexpectedly. Food earns plenty of praise but is less consistently convincing than the service. We’d choose it for an easy family beach holiday, not a food-led escape or an adults-only atmosphere.

• Best for: families with children ages 4–12; multigenerational beach holidays; travelers wanting activities on-site

• Watch out for: early competition for pool loungers; restaurant reservations and variable opening schedules; family-heavy atmosphere during school breaks

• Location: Direct beachfront setting in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, with restaurants nearby.

• Rooms: Renovated in 2024; guests generally praise spacious rooms, though two-bed categories use doubles rather than queens.

• Cleanliness: A clear strength across Tripadvisor and recent Expedia feedback, covering rooms and public areas.

• Service: Warm, attentive staff are the most consistent highlight, despite occasional arrival and coordination problems.

• Amenities: Waterslides, lazy river, adults’ pool, gym and included CAMP Club for ages 4–12.

• Fees and surprises: Cabanas cost extra; all-inclusive does not guarantee every restaurant is open each day.
