Axel's take: 8.7/10

A strong Belgrano base for practical suites and genuinely attentive service. a comfortable mid-range apartment-style hotel in Belgrano, scored for what it is.

Argenta Suites Belgrano is a comfortable mid-range apartment-style hotel, and a strong pick if you want a neighborhood base rather than downtown bustle. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff; recent Tripadvisor reviews reinforce the service praise. Studios and junior suites have balconies and compact kitchenettes with microwaves, making longer stays easier. Nearby shops, cafés and Juramento subway add everyday convenience.

The compromises are straightforward: breakfast is continental, with several guests wanting more variety or hot options, and central sightseeing requires a journey. Crucially, Booking.com lists the outdoor pool as closed from August 18 through October 31, 2026, despite broader seasonal schedules elsewhere. Confirm reopening directly. We'd choose it for comfortable, practical stays in Belgrano, but skip it if swimming or walking to downtown sights defines your trip.

• Best for: longer stays in Belgrano; couples wanting a neighborhood base; families who value kitchenette convenience

• Watch out for: Outdoor pool listed closed through October 31, 2026; Limited hot breakfast options; Not a downtown sightseeing base

• Location: Belgrano shops and cafés nearby; Juramento subway is about five minutes away on foot.

• Rooms: Studios and junior suites offer balconies, compact kitchenettes and microwaves; guests praise bed comfort.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com and recent Expedia reviews.

• Service: Warm, helpful reception and attentive breakfast staff earn repeated praise across sites.

• Amenities: Wi-Fi, breakfast and sauna; confirm outdoor pool reopening before relying on it.

• Fees and surprises: Transfers and laundry cost extra; parking information conflicts, so confirm arrangements directly.
