#5 of 5 hotels in Ferencváros & Ráday Street by Axel's take. Ferencváros & Ráday Street is #6 of 8 places to stay in Budapest. The best hotels in Ferencváros & Ráday Street, ranked · Where to stay in Budapest

Axel's take: 8.3/10

Friendly service and excellent breakfast make this older three-star a strong sightseeing base. a traditional 3-star city hotel near Corvin-negyed metro, scored for what it is.

The Sissi wing is the simpler, three-star half of Corvin Hotel Budapest, sharing public spaces with the four-star Corvin wing. It’s a strong pick for a good-value city break: Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise helpful staff, clean rooms and a generous breakfast buffet. Nearby metro and tram stops make exploring straightforward, while the inner garden adds somewhere pleasant to sit between outings.

The compromise is room condition rather than missing essentials. Several 2025–2026 guests describe dated furnishings and visible wear; Wi-Fi also scores noticeably below the hotel’s other basics on Booking.com. This is a practical base, not a design-led stay or a doorstep location for every major sight. We’d skip it if fresh interiors or dependable connectivity matter most, and check whether breakfast is included before booking.

Best for: value-minded city-break travelers; sightseers comfortable using public transport; families needing larger room options
Watch out for: dated furnishings and visible wear; Wi-Fi is a weaker point; parking costs extra
Location: Quiet Ferencváros street near metro, trams, restaurants and shops; not every major sight is walkable.
Rooms: Air-conditioned rooms with fridges and safes; traditional interiors, with recurring reports of wear.
Cleanliness: Generally praised across booking sites, despite occasional individual complaints.
Service: Friendly, helpful reception staff are one of the most consistent strengths.
Amenities: Breakfast buffet, inner garden, lobby bar and family rooms; Wi-Fi receives weaker guest ratings.
Fees and surprises: Paid, limited parking; breakfast inclusion depends on the booking; Sissi is not the four-star Corvin wing.
