Hotels in BakersfieldA practical, full-service 3-star off Highway 99
7.8/10
A solid Bakersfield stopover, with friendly staff but uneven quiet and dining.
This full-service 3-star off Highway 99 is a good pick for a practical Bakersfield stopover. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms, helpful staff and easy parking, while overall ratings across major sites remain solid. Free parking and Wi-Fi, an indoor pool and a gym make it useful for road trips and short business stays rather than a destination in itself.
The main compromise is consistency. Some guests sleep well; others report early truck traffic, train horns or noise around the pool. Dining feedback ranges from excellent service to slow meals, cold breakfast and unexpected restaurant closures. Some reviews also flag aging carpets and maintenance lapses. Confirm restaurant hours and whether breakfast is included, and request a room away from industrial traffic and the pool. We'd skip it if uninterrupted sleep or dependable on-site dining is essential.
