#5 of 9 hotels in Kaleiçi (Old Town) by Axel's take. Kaleiçi (Old Town) is #1 of 6 places to stay in Antalya. The best hotels in Kaleiçi (Old Town), ranked · Where to stay in Antalya

Axel's take: 8.0/10

Come for sea swims and Old Town access, not flawless five-star polish. a five-star clifftop city hotel near Antalya’s Old Town, scored for what it is.

Ramada Plaza is a five-star clifftop city hotel that makes a strong case for combining Antalya sightseeing with swimming. Kaleiçi is walkable, the Mediterranean views are a major draw, and indoor and outdoor pools plus a spa give it proper holiday facilities. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the breakfast spread, comfortable rooms and cleanliness. We'd pick it for a city-and-sea break rather than a secluded resort holiday.

The trade-off is polish: Expedia and Trip.com reviews mention aging interiors, while service earns plenty of praise but also recurring reports of slow or less welcoming interactions. Its private “beach” is a series of platforms with steps into deep water, not sand or a gently shelving shore. We'd skip it if you want pristine luxury throughout or easy paddling with young children.

  • Best for: couples combining sightseeing and swimming; confident sea swimmers; travelers wanting Old Town within walking distance

  • Watch out for: platform sea access, not a sandy beach; aging interiors in some rooms; uneven service

  • Location: Clifftop setting beside central Antalya, with Kaleiçi and restaurants within walking distance.

  • Rooms: Generally comfortable and spacious, but recent guests still describe some interiors as dated.

  • Cleanliness: Broadly positive across major review sites; cleanliness is a consistent strength overall.

  • Service: Many guests praise helpful staff, though slow responses and cooler reception recur in feedback.

  • Amenities: Indoor and outdoor pools, gym, spa and sea platforms; Expedia lists the outdoor pool as seasonal.

  • Fees and surprises: Free self-parking is listed; meal and drink inclusions depend on the package, so check before booking.
