Axel's take: 6.7/10

Useful for a cheap city stop, but room quality is inconsistent. a no-frills budget city hotel near Antalya’s tram, scored for what it is.

Exporoyal is a no-frills budget city hotel, not a beach hotel. We'd consider it for a short Antalya stop if location and keeping costs down matter more than polish. Guests repeatedly praise the tram access, proximity to MarkAntalya and helpful reception staff. Recent Tripadvisor and Trip.com reviewers include travelers happy with clean, functional rooms; Booking.com and Expedia’s overall ratings are more mixed.

The trade-off is consistency: small rooms, tired bathrooms and noise between rooms recur, while cleanliness gets both praise and criticism. Several 2026 guests also report water or hot-water problems. Nearby demolition and construction appear in late-2025 and March-2026 stays; whether work continues is unconfirmed, so ask before booking. We'd skip it for a restful holiday or if dependable housekeeping and spacious rooms are priorities.

  • Best for: budget-conscious city explorers; short stays with tram access

  • Watch out for: small rooms and thin sound insulation; uneven cleaning and bathroom maintenance; reported nearby construction; current status unconfirmed

  • Location: Convenient for Şarampol tram and MarkAntalya; inland, rather than beside the beach.

  • Rooms: Compact and basic, with recurring reports of wear, bathroom faults and noise.

  • Cleanliness: Mixed: recent guests describe both clean rooms and disappointing cleaning.

  • Service: Helpful reception staff are a recurring strength, though problem handling draws some criticism.

  • Amenities: Listings include air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, restaurant, terrace and 24-hour reception.

  • Fees and surprises: Breakfast and airport transfers can cost extra; parking listings conflict, so confirm directly.
