#8 of 9 hotels in City Centre (Kalekapısı) by Axel's take. City Centre (Kalekapısı) is #2 of 6 places to stay in Antalya. The best hotels in City Centre (Kalekapısı), ranked · Where to stay in Antalya

Axel's take: 6.4/10

Central and practical, but inconsistent housekeeping makes this a cautious budget pick. a no-frills budget hotel in central Antalya, scored for what it is.

Comfort Basaran Otel is a no-frills budget hotel near MarkAntalya mall, with shops, tram connections and the old town within walking distance. We'd consider it for a short, location-first stay rather than a relaxing holiday. Google feedback is substantially stronger than Booking.com and Expedia ratings, while guests across several sites appreciate the central setting and some particularly helpful staff. The hotel advertises free Wi-Fi, parking and a 24-hour reception.

The main reservation is housekeeping: Trip.com and Enuygun reviews repeatedly mention dirty floors or bedding, although other recent guests report clean rooms. Smoke smells and noise also crop up, and room condition appears uneven. The official website sells room-only stays, so plan to eat elsewhere. We'd skip it if dependable cleanliness, quiet nights or a reliably smoke-free room matter most.

  • Best for: budget-minded solo travelers; short city-center stays; shopping and tram access

  • Watch out for: inconsistent housekeeping and bedding; cigarette smells in some rooms; internal and street noise

  • Location: Near MarkAntalya mall and tram connections; walkable to the old town, not a beachfront base.

  • Rooms: Basic air-conditioned rooms; guests report uneven upkeep, smoke smells and noise.

  • Cleanliness: Mixed reports, with repeated floor and bedding complaints alongside recent praise.

  • Service: Helpful staff earn praise, but service ratings vary considerably between sites.

  • Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, lift and terrace; parking is advertised.

  • Fees and surprises: Official offers are room-only; confirm parking arrangements and request a smoke-free room directly.
