Axel's take: 8.1/10

A strong sightseeing base with good breakfast, but light sleepers should be selective. a central 4-star city hotel near Antalya’s old town, scored for what it is.

Best Western Plus Khan is a central 4-star city hotel, not a beach resort, and we'd pick it for exploring Antalya on foot. Kaleiçi, the bazaar and shopping streets are close by. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the location, helpful staff and breakfast, while recent reviews generally describe clean, comfortable rooms. The terrace outdoor pool adds something genuinely useful after sightseeing.

The main compromise is quiet: guests report road noise, nearby music and early calls to prayer, with some disturbance even on upper floors. Room finish also varies; renovations have improved parts of the hotel, but some guests still find the decor and bathrooms tired. The pool is seasonal, listed by Expedia for May–October. It's a strong pick for city-focused travelers; we'd skip it for a hushed retreat or a beachfront holiday.

  • Best for: old-town sightseeing; couples on a city break; shoppers exploring on foot

  • Watch out for: street noise and early calls to prayer; uneven room and bathroom finish; seasonal outdoor pool

  • Location: Near Kaleiçi and the bazaar, with shops and restaurants nearby; not beachfront.

  • Rooms: Generally comfortable and reasonably spacious, but finish varies and sound insulation draws complaints.

  • Cleanliness: Mostly positive across recent reviews, supported by strong cleanliness ratings on Booking.com and Expedia.

  • Service: Helpful staff receive repeated praise, though some guests report language barriers or uneven reception service.

  • Amenities: Breakfast, terrace outdoor pool, gym and spa; Expedia lists the pool season as May–October.

  • Fees and surprises: Transfers and spa treatments cost extra; guests reported renovation work in 2025, but ongoing disruption was not confirmed.
