#2 of 9 hotels in Lara by Axel's take. Lara is #5 of 6 places to stay in Antalya. The best hotels in Lara, ranked · Where to stay in Antalya

Axel's take: 8.3/10

A friendly Lara base with strong value, but choose your room carefully. a mid-range boutique-style city hotel in Lara, scored for what it is.

Azuu is a mid-range boutique-style city hotel in Lara, not a beachfront resort. We'd choose it for helpful staff, good value and easy access to neighborhood restaurants and coastal walks. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the housekeeping and welcoming service; Booking.com also rates staff particularly well. The seasonal pool, restaurant and Turkish bath give it more than the basics, and many reviewers stay while visiting local dental clinics.

The main compromise is room consistency. Standard rooms can be small, and recent guests describe differences between buildings, with some bathrooms and fittings needing attention. Shower water escaping onto bathroom floors is a recurring niggle. Confirm your exact room category, balcony and step-free access rather than relying on the best photos. We'd skip it for a sandy-beach holiday or uniformly polished rooms.

  • Best for: value-minded couples; solo city-break travelers; visitors attending nearby dental clinics

  • Watch out for: small standard rooms and uneven room condition; bathroom floors can get wet; confirm elevator access for your assigned building

  • Location: Walkable Lara neighborhood near restaurants and the coast; sandy beaches require a separate trip.

  • Rooms: Categories vary considerably; confirm size, balcony and building before booking.

  • Cleanliness: Mostly strong recent feedback, despite occasional room-specific maintenance and hygiene complaints.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful staff are the clearest recurring strength across review sites.

  • Amenities: Seasonal outdoor pool, restaurant, bar and Turkish bath; Expedia lists pool operation from April through October.

  • Fees and surprises: Massages, transfers and some other services cost extra; early check-in and late checkout may incur charges.
