#2 of 9 hotels in Zuidas & RAI by Axel's take. Zuidas & RAI is #10 of 12 places to stay in Amsterdam. The best hotels in Zuidas & RAI, ranked · Where to stay in Amsterdam

Axel's take: 8.8/10

A strong apartment-style base if space matters more than a canal-side address. A modern mid-range serviced-apartment hotel in Amsterdam’s Zuidas business district, scored for what it is.

PREMIER SUITES PLUS Amsterdam is a modern serviced-apartment hotel in Zuidas, not a conventional city-center hotel. It’s a strong pick for longer stays: kitchens, dishwashers and in-room laundry make the apartments genuinely practical. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, comfortable beds and helpful staff, while recent reviews highlight the space and convenient public transport near Amsterdam Zuid.

The trade-off is independence rather than full hotel service. The hotel includes weekly housekeeping, with shorter stays cleaned after departure; extra cleaning costs more. Gym access is next door at TRAINMORE and requires a reservation. Major Zuidasdok construction around Amsterdam Zuid and Parnassusweg currently complicates local access. We’d skip it if you want daily servicing or canal-belt sights outside the door, but choose it for a comfortable, well-connected base with room to settle in.

  • Best for: Longer stays and self-catering; Business travelers working in Zuidas; Families booking multi-bedroom apartments

  • Watch out for: Weekly rather than daily housekeeping; Zuidasdok construction and access changes nearby; Outside the historic center

  • Location: Near Amsterdam Zuid’s trains and metro, with useful tram connections; sightseeing generally requires transport.

  • Rooms: Modern apartments with kitchens, dishwashers and laundry; guests regularly praise space and bed comfort.

  • Cleanliness: Strong overall cleanliness ratings across Booking.com and Expedia; replenishment may require asking reception.

  • Service: Reception operates around the clock, and helpful staff earn broad praise despite occasional contrary reports.

  • Amenities: Free Wi-Fi and lobby coffee; complimentary TRAINMORE access next door requires a reservation.

  • Fees and surprises: Extra housekeeping and limited parking cost more; a security deposit may apply, and nearby Zuidasdok works affect access.
