Axel's take: 7.8/10

Good airport-stop value, with friendly staff but uneven rooms and noisy air conditioning. a budget, motel-style airport hotel with exterior corridors, scored for what it is.

Quality Inn & Suites Airport is a budget, motel-style hotel near El Paso’s airport, and we’d consider it for a practical overnight rather than a polished getaway. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, spacious rooms and cleanliness; reviews elsewhere also give the hot breakfast credit. Free parking, in-room fridges and microwaves, and a seasonal outdoor pool make it useful for road-trippers and families watching their budget.

The trade-off is consistency. Alongside plenty of satisfied guests, recent reviews describe dated finishes, missed cleaning details and air conditioners that are loud or struggle to cool rooms; road and neighboring-room noise also crop up. We’d skip it if quiet sleep or reliably fresh interiors are priorities. The hotel advertises free airport transportation, but confirm operating days and hours before relying on it for a flight.

• Best for: budget-conscious airport stopovers; road-trippers; families needing extra room

• Watch out for: loud or uneven air conditioning; variable room upkeep and cleaning; confirm airport shuttle availability

• Location: Convenient for the airport, Bassett Place and nearby dining; better suited to drivers than a downtown sightseeing stay.

• Rooms: Often praised as spacious, with fridges and microwaves; dated finishes and noisy air conditioning recur in complaints.

• Cleanliness: Positive overall, particularly on Expedia, but recent guests also report dirty floors and missed housekeeping details.

• Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff are one of the most consistent strengths across sources.

• Amenities: Free hot breakfast, WiFi and parking, plus a seasonal outdoor pool; the hotel advertises free airport transportation.

• Fees and surprises: Pets incur a nightly fee, with size and number limits; confirm shuttle operating days and hours directly.
