Good room space for business stays, but service and upkeep need more consistency. a practical 4-star business hotel with apartment-style rooms in Sidi Maarouf, scored for what it is.

Domo is a practical 4-star business hotel in Sidi Maarouf, better suited to nearby offices than sightseeing in central Casablanca. We'd consider it for the generous apartment-style rooms, kitchenettes and on-site parking. Guests across Tripadvisor and Expedia praise the space, while recent Trip.com visitors appreciate the business location and gym. The rooftop pool adds somewhere to unwind rather than a reason to book.

The trade-off is inconsistent execution. Alongside helpful-staff reports, reviews across several sites describe weak air-conditioning, slow responses and maintenance shortcomings; housekeeping also gets mixed marks despite generally positive cleanliness ratings. Some rooms show wear, and guests repeatedly describe the pool as shallow. Confirm breakfast inclusion and kitchenette equipment rather than assuming both are covered. We'd skip it for a polished four-star getaway or a sightseeing trip built around walking from the hotel.

• Best for: business travelers visiting Sidi Maarouf; longer stays needing extra room space; travelers with a car

• Watch out for: outlying location for central sightseeing; recurring weak air-conditioning and uneven service; shallow rooftop pool

• Location: Sidi Maarouf business district; the hotel places itself about 9 km from the city center.

• Rooms: Spacious, apartment-style layouts with kitchenettes; wear and weak air-conditioning recur in reviews.

• Cleanliness: Generally positive aggregate ratings, with some recent complaints about linen and housekeeping detail.

• Service: Many guests praise helpful staff, but slow responses and poor problem resolution recur.

• Amenities: Rooftop pool, gym, restaurant and free self-parking; confirm cooking equipment before relying on the kitchenette.

• Fees and surprises: City tax is payable at the property; breakfast and airport transfers can cost extra.
