#6 of 8 hotels in Bahnhofstrasse & Lindenhof by Axel's take. Bahnhofstrasse & Lindenhof is #2 of 9 places to stay in Zurich. The best hotels in Bahnhofstrasse & Lindenhof, ranked · Where to stay in Zurich

Axel's take: 8.5/10

Excellent service and spacious rooms, but renovations currently compromise the full luxury experience. a contemporary 5-star business and city-break hotel near Lake Zurich, scored for what it is.

Park Hyatt Zurich is a contemporary 5-star with a businesslike streak, and a strong pick for attentive service rather than old-world grandeur. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. The location works equally well for meetings, Bahnhofstrasse shopping and walks by the lake. We'd choose it for a polished, practical city stay.

The current catch is renovation work. As of October 2026, Parkhuus is closed, with replacement restaurant Florea announced for November; September guests also reported ONYX Bar closed and breakfast relocated to the lobby. Hyatt confirms work in public areas, although its FAQ understates the dining changes. Room-condition opinions vary, so request a refreshed room. We'd skip it for now if a fully functioning destination restaurant and cocktail bar are central to your stay.

  • Best for: business travelers who value attentive service; couples exploring Zurich on foot; travelers prioritizing spacious city rooms

  • Watch out for: Parkhuus closed; Florea planned for November 2026; ONYX Bar closure reported during renovations; confirm a refreshed room before booking

  • Location: Quiet central setting within walking distance of Lake Zurich, Bahnhofstrasse and the old town.

  • Rooms: Guests generally praise space and comfort, but recent opinions on decor and condition differ.

  • Cleanliness: A consistent strength: Expedia scores cleanliness highly, echoed by recent Tripadvisor guests.

  • Service: Warm, helpful staff are the clearest recurring positive across recent guest accounts.

  • Amenities: Spa treatments and a lobby lounge remain advertised; restaurant and bar renovations limit the full experience.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking, EV charging and pets carry charges; breakfast is not automatically included, even with suites.
