#5 of 9 hotels in Airport by Axel's take. Airport is #4 of 8 places to stay in Winnipeg. The best hotels in Airport, ranked · Where to stay in Winnipeg

Axel's take: 8.1/10

A strong airport option for families, but check pool access and renovation plans. A family-friendly 3-star airport and convention hotel, scored for what it is.

Victoria Inn is a full-service 3-star near Winnipeg’s airport, strongest for family stopovers and convention stays. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The complimentary airport shuttle and parking during your stay add practical value, while the dinosaur-themed pool and slides give children a reason to look forward to an airport hotel.

The main caution is availability, not the overall standard. Expedia lists meeting-facility renovations through October 30, 2026, with daytime disruption possible. It also lists Monday–Thursday pool and hot-tub closures, contradicting the hotel’s published daily hours: confirm directly before promising swimming. For quiet, request a room away from the pool. We’d choose somewhere more central for a sightseeing trip built around walking downtown.

  • Best for: Families with young children; Airport stopovers; Convention attendees

  • Watch out for: Conflicting pool-opening information; Meeting-facility renovations through October 30, 2026; Poolside rooms are less suited to quiet stays

  • Location: Convenient for the airport and Polo Park; not a downtown walking base.

  • Rooms: Comfortable rooms, family-themed options and suites; request distance from the pool for quiet.

  • Cleanliness: A consistent strength in recent Expedia and Tripadvisor feedback.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful staff earn repeated praise; complimentary airport shuttle available.

  • Amenities: Dino Beach pool, waterslides, hot tub, gym and Chicago Joe’s restaurant; confirm swimming access.

  • Fees and surprises: Hotel confirms free parking during stays; breakfast, pets and some extras cost more, and a damage-deposit hold applies.
