Hotels in WinnipegA practical 3-star family hotel and entertainment complex in north Winnipeg
7.5/10
Good family facilities and friendly staff, but the rooms need more consistent upkeep.
Canad Inns Garden City is a practical 3-star family hotel and entertainment complex, not a polished city-centre stay. We'd consider it for north Winnipeg visits: the indoor waterslide, hot tub, on-site dining and free parking make it convenient. Recent Expedia and Google guests repeatedly praise helpful staff and clean, comfortable rooms, while Booking.com's overall rating supports a good rather than exceptional verdict.
The trade-off is uneven upkeep. Recent guests across sites describe dated interiors, maintenance faults and occasional room odors, alongside plenty of satisfactory stays. Breakfast costs extra, and downtown sightseeing usually means a drive. We'd skip it if fresh-looking rooms and consistently well-maintained facilities are priorities. Families should also check dates carefully: Expedia lists the swimming pool and hot tub as unavailable November 1–3, 2026.
