#8 of 9 hotels in Airport by Axel's take. Airport is #4 of 8 places to stay in Winnipeg. The best hotels in Airport, ranked · Where to stay in Winnipeg

Axel's take: 7.3/10

Useful airport convenience and breakfast, but housekeeping and pool upkeep need more consistency. A budget airport hotel with suites and an indoor waterslide, scored for what it is.

This budget airport hotel is a practical pick for a short stopover, rather than somewhere we'd choose for a special getaway. Included breakfast, free airport transportation and rooms with microwaves and fridges make the basics convenient. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests regularly praise helpful staff, and many describe comfortable, clean rooms. The hotel specifies that airport transfers are provided by complimentary taxi—worth arranging directly.

The trade-off is inconsistent upkeep. Recent reviews across several sites mention worn furnishings, missed cleaning and maintenance problems; pool-area cleanliness also draws repeated criticism. The indoor waterslide adds family appeal, but we'd confirm pool availability before making it the reason to book. It's a reasonable choice for budget-conscious airport travelers; we'd skip it for a pool-focused family break or if consistently spotless surroundings are essential.

Best for: Budget-conscious airport stopovers; Short stays with a car
Watch out for: Inconsistent housekeeping and maintenance; Recurring pool-area cleanliness complaints; Arrange complimentary airport taxis directly
Location: Convenient for the airport and Polo Park; less suited to exploring downtown on foot.
Rooms: Microwaves and fridges are useful; comfort earns praise, but furnishings and maintenance can disappoint.
Cleanliness: Many guests report clean rooms, alongside repeated housekeeping and pool-area complaints.
Service: Helpful staff are a recurring strength, although check-in and problem handling receive some criticism.
Amenities: Included breakfast, Wi-Fi, gym and indoor pool with waterslide; confirm pool availability before arrival.
Fees and surprises: Self-parking is included; Expedia lists a stay deposit and charges for early check-in or late checkout.
