Axel's take: 8.5/10

A strong-value park base with spacious rooms and standout staff, but some humidity complaints. a modern, select-service 3-star near SeaWorld, scored for what it is.

TRYP by Wyndham Orlando is a modern, select-service 3-star near SeaWorld, and a strong pick for families who want comfortable space rather than resort extras. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, while Booking.com ratings reinforce the positive picture on cleanliness and value. Family rooms with bunk beds are especially practical. Free parking, a heated outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi round out a useful theme-park base.

The trade-offs are worth knowing: recent guests on multiple sites mention dampness or musty smells in some rooms, and noise complaints include slamming doors and neighboring guests. Parking can also tighten up when busy. Breakfast costs extra, and the hotel's evening food service has limited days. We'd choose it for a straightforward, good-value stay with a car; we'd skip it if you're particularly sensitive to musty smells or need reliably quiet nights.

• Best for: families wanting bunk-bed rooms; SeaWorld visitors with a car; value-minded theme-park travelers

• Watch out for: dampness or musty smells in some rooms; door and neighboring-room noise; parking can fill up

• Location: Convenient for SeaWorld and Discovery Cove; plan transport for the wider theme-park circuit.

• Rooms: Spacious, contemporary rooms; family configurations include bunk beds, but some guests report humidity.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall cleanliness ratings, with some reports of uneven housekeeping.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are the most consistent strength across recent reviews.

• Amenities: Heated outdoor pool, fitness center and free Wi-Fi; evening food service is limited to Friday–Sunday.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is free; breakfast is paid. June 2026 guests reported elevator outages, so confirm operation if stairs are unsuitable.
