Axel's take: 8.2/10

A strong convention base with a generous pool, but not a luxury retreat. a large 4-star convention hotel on International Drive, scored for what it is.

Rosen Centre is a large 4-star convention hotel that makes most sense when the Orange County Convention Center anchors your trip. Its covered skywalk connection is the main draw, backed by a large outdoor pool, several dining options and no resort fee. Recent Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise clean rooms and helpful staff. We'd pick it for practical comfort and convenience rather than a distinctive resort experience.

The trade-offs are its convention-driven atmosphere, separately charged parking and uneven room impressions: Tripadvisor guests more often describe dated bathrooms, limited storage and inconsistent service. Pool loungers can be scarce during busy events, and restaurant opening hours deserve checking. Confirm skywalk access before arrival, too: an October 2026 Expedia guest reported it unavailable. We'd skip it for an intimate, reliably upscale getaway.

• Best for: Orange County Convention Center attendees; business travelers wanting pool downtime; theme-park visitors comfortable staying off-site

• Watch out for: parking charged separately; dated bathrooms and variable service; confirm skywalk access and restaurant hours

• Location: International Drive location with a convention-center skywalk; confirm access for your dates.

• Rooms: Generally comfortable and clean, but bathroom condition and storage draw mixed feedback.

• Cleanliness: A clear strength across Booking.com, Expedia and Trip.com, despite occasional complaints.

• Service: Mostly praised in recent booking-site reviews; Tripadvisor feedback is less consistent.

• Amenities: Large outdoor pool, hot tubs, spa, fitness center and multiple dining venues; loungers can fill up.

• Fees and surprises: No resort fee; parking costs extra, and the complimentary Universal shuttle requires advance signup.
