Axel's take: 8.2/10
A strong village base for mountain days, with friendly service and some dated rooms. A straightforward 3-star in Whistler Village, scored for what it is.
Listel is a straightforward 3-star in Whistler Village, and a strong pick if location matters more than resort polish. The gondolas, shops and restaurants are a short walk away, while its position off the main stroll helps limit nightlife noise. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Ski and bike storage, an indoor hot tub and sauna make it a practical mountain base; Bearfoot Bistro adds on-site dinner options.
Room condition is the main caveat: some guests still describe tired furnishings, and hallway noise gets occasional mentions. The hotel advertises refreshed Cedar Gallery rooms, so room category matters. Parking costs extra, breakfast isn't offered, and there's neither a pool nor a gym. We'd choose it for an active, value-minded trip, but skip it for a polished resort stay or family pool time.
