Praga around Ząbkowska, Targowa and Koneser offers a different Warsaw: surviving prewar buildings, courtyards, neighborhood bars and a former vodka factory repurposed for museums, restaurants and events. Stay here if that texture interests you more than being surrounded by the headline sights. Koneser gives an easy first destination without making the whole neighborhood feel like one entertainment complex.
