Old Town puts Tbilisi’s balconied lanes, Sioni Cathedral and Abanotubani’s sulfur baths into your everyday walk. Around Meidan and Kote Afkhazi Street, sightseeing requires little planning: step outside and start exploring. Choose this for a short first visit when atmosphere matters more than a residential feel.
Check the actual street before booking. Shardeni’s nightlife, steep steps toward Betlemi and awkward vehicle access make different addresses feel very different. Skip it if you need level walking or quiet evenings. Narikala Fortress itself remains closed for restoration in the latest checked reports; the Mother of Georgia viewpoint is still accessible.
