For a quieter luxury stay, Four Seasons on the South Strip has spacious two-queen rooms and Mandalay Bay pool access.

Questions families ask
Should we book two queens or two doubles for four people?
Two queens give each shared bed more width, especially useful with older children. Sahara, Gold Coast and Renaissance list full-size or double beds, while Venetian, Wynn and Four Seasons offer queens. Check the exact room name and bedding confirmation: some room descriptions use “doubles” even where the hotel identifies two queens. All these recommended configurations accommodate four without a sofa bed.
Can we add a crib or rollaway to a room for four?
Do not assume either is available in a two-bed room. Venetian and Hampton do not offer rollaways, and Downtown Grand’s two-queen room excludes them. Other hotels may charge and restrict placement by floorplan or occupancy. Crib policies also vary, with conflicting information at Hampton. Confirm the exact room, availability and any fee before relying on an extra bed.
How much more does a room for four usually cost?
The difference varies considerably by hotel and date. Two-queen rooms at Palms, Hampton and Renaissance can carry only a modest premium over the cheapest room for two, while Venetian and Wynn can require a larger step up. A four-person room is not always more expensive. Compare the total stay, including resort or destination fees, parking and breakfast.
Which Las Vegas neighborhood works best with children?
Center Strip is the easiest base for frequent sightseeing, with Venetian offering exceptional room space and Planet Hollywood convenient dining. North Strip can mean longer journeys, though Sahara’s connected Monorail helps. South Strip suits Mandalay Bay pool plans. Downtown offers lower-cost queen-bed options but is a separate base from the Strip; west-of-Strip hotels work better with a car.
Does booking a suite mean the children have a separate bedroom?
Not necessarily. Venetian’s two-queen suite has a distinct living area, but it is open to the sleeping area rather than behind a bedroom door. Its extra space helps four people spread out, not maintain separate bedtimes in private rooms. The other recommended rooms also involve sharing one sleeping space, so choose based on bed width, floor area and noise tolerance.
