Marriott’s Ocean Pointe is a beachfront 4-star timeshare resort, not a full-service luxury hotel. It’s a strong pick for families who want beach access, activities and space to settle in. The one- to three-bedroom villas have full kitchens and washer-dryers; standard guest rooms are a different proposition. Recent Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, comfortable accommodations and the family-friendly facilities.
The trade-offs are uneven room condition, sometimes frustrating check-in and views that depend heavily on your assigned unit. Parking and beach-chair rentals cost extra, although Marriott charges no resort fee. Importantly, Marriott currently lists Sailfish pool resurfacing through November 20, 2026, with one pool and half the deck closed and construction noise expected.
