Capital Hilton is a historic, full-service 4-star two blocks from the White House, and a strong pick for a straightforward downtown stay. Its guest rooms and corridors were renovated in 2024; recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and genuinely helpful staff. We'd choose it for sightseeing or business when location and reliable comfort matter more than boutique character.
