Axel's take: 8.8/10

Spacious rooms and standout staff make this a dependable Warsaw five-star. a polished 5-star business hotel near Three Crosses Square, scored for what it is.

Sheraton Grand Warsaw is a polished 5-star business hotel near Three Crosses Square, and a strong pick for comfort rather than theatrical luxury. Recent Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise spacious rooms, cleanliness, generous breakfasts and helpful staff. The club lounge gets especially enthusiastic feedback, making an access-inclusive room worth considering. We'd choose it for business trips or a comfortable city break with restaurants and shopping nearby.

The trade-offs are mostly practical: there's no swimming pool, Old Town isn't on the doorstep, and parking costs extra. Lounge access isn't standard with every room, so check what's included. Some guests find the bathrooms dated, but that isn't the dominant picture. We'd skip it if a pool or an Old Town address matters more than room space and dependable service.

• Best for: business travelers; couples on a comfortable city break; travelers booking club-lounge access

• Watch out for: no swimming pool; Old Town requires a longer walk or ride; parking and lounge access can cost extra

• Location: Central Three Crosses Square setting near shopping and restaurants, rather than directly in Old Town.

• Rooms: Spacious, comfortable rooms draw consistent praise; some guests find the bathrooms dated.

• Cleanliness: A clear strength across Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor feedback.

• Service: Recent reviews repeatedly praise welcoming staff, with particularly strong feedback for the lounge team.

• Amenities: Italian and Asian restaurants, a well-equipped gym, saunas and steam rooms; no swimming pool.

• Fees and surprises: Parking and pets carry charges; breakfast and club-lounge access depend on your booking or eligibility.
