Classic Warsaw luxury in a superb location, but check renovation plans before booking. a historic 5-star luxury hotel on Warsaw’s Royal Route, scored for what it is.

Bristol is a historic 5-star on Warsaw’s Royal Route, beside the Presidential Palace and a short walk from the Old Town. It’s a strong pick for travelers who prefer traditional grandeur to contemporary minimalism. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise comfortable beds, cleanliness and welcoming staff; Café Bristol and the indoor pool add reasons to linger beyond sightseeing.

The caveat is recent renovation work: a September 2026 Tripadvisor guest reported fourth-floor drilling and construction smells, which management acknowledged. Confirm whether work continues and request an unaffected room. Some recent guests also describe dated bathrooms and uneven restaurant service, although praise remains dominant. Breakfast is expensive unless included, and parking costs extra. We’d skip it if you want modern rooms or cannot risk daytime disruption.

• Best for: first-time Warsaw sightseers; couples who enjoy historic hotels; traditional luxury travelers

• Watch out for: recent fourth-floor renovation; confirm current status; some dated bathrooms and service lapses; breakfast and parking extras

• Location: Beside the Presidential Palace, with the Old Town and Royal Route sights easily explored on foot.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds and traditional interiors; room sizes and bathroom layouts vary by category.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com and Expedia ratings and recent guest feedback.

• Service: Usually warm and attentive, with occasional restaurant delays and billing problems.

• Amenities: Indoor pool, spa, gym, Café Bristol, restaurants and bars; not a beach or outdoor-pool hotel.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast may be extra; parking and pets incur charges, and Expedia lists a deposit and service fee.
