#6 of 6 hotels in Plac Zbawiciela & Three Crosses Square by Axel's take. Plac Zbawiciela & Three Crosses Square is #3 of 8 places to stay in Warsaw. The best hotels in Plac Zbawiciela & Three Crosses Square, ranked · Where to stay in Warsaw

Axel's take: 7.1/10

A handy budget base, but shared bathrooms need more consistent care. a simple budget hostel in central Warsaw, scored for what it is.

Lwowska 11 is a budget hostel, not a conventional two-star hotel, occupying an upper floor of an older apartment building near Hala Koszyki. It’s a practical pick for independent travelers who prioritize location and a guest kitchen over polish. Hostelworld and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, while spacious dorms and under-bed lockers add to the appeal.

The main reservation is the shared bathrooms: recent reviews across several sites describe poor upkeep, clogged showers and broken fittings, with some facilities reported out of order. Dorm beds lack privacy curtains, and several guests mention missing reading lights or uncomfortable mattresses. The atmosphere tends toward quiet rather than sociable. We’d consider it for a short, budget-focused stay, but skip it if bathroom cleanliness, privacy or reliable comfort are priorities.

  • Best for: budget-minded solo travelers; short central Warsaw stays; travelers who self-cater

  • Watch out for: shared-bathroom cleanliness and maintenance; limited dorm privacy; older lift and awkward luggage access

  • Location: Near Hala Koszyki, restaurants and public transport; roughly 15 minutes’ walk from Central Station.

  • Rooms: Mixed and women-only dorms plus private options; roomy layouts, but bed comfort and bedside facilities vary.

  • Cleanliness: Many guests find rooms clean, but bathroom cleanliness is a recurring recent weakness.

  • Service: Helpful staff earn frequent praise, though problem handling is not uniformly positive.

  • Amenities: Guest kitchen, common area, lockers and free Wi-Fi; confirm laundry availability before relying on it.

  • Fees and surprises: Towel rental costs extra; confirm late-arrival arrangements and your room’s bathroom setup.
