Axel's take: 7.6/10

Good-value Praga base with handy transport, but noise and room differences matter. a simple, budget-minded 3-star in Warsaw’s Praga district, scored for what it is.

Hit Hotel is a straightforward, budget-minded 3-star in Praga-Północ, a short walk from Dworzec Wileński metro. It’s a good pick for travelers who prioritize transport and value over polished interiors. Booking.com guests give particularly strong marks to location and staff, while Expedia and Tripadvisor reviews repeatedly praise the breakfast. Rooms are generally practical, and some are generously sized.

The catch is consistency: room categories differ, some bathrooms feel dated, and air conditioning is available only in selected rooms. Noise from neighboring rooms and corridors recurs across review sites, including recent stays. Cleanliness is broadly well rated, though not faultless, and service attracts occasional mixed reports. Breakfast may cost extra, and the paid garage has limited spaces. We’d skip it for a reliably quiet retreat or an Old Town doorstep location.

• Best for: budget-conscious city explorers; stadium and concert visitors; travelers comfortable using public transport

• Watch out for: noise between rooms and from corridors; air conditioning only in selected categories; variable room condition

• Location: Praga-Północ, about four minutes from the metro; convenient connections rather than an Old Town address.

• Rooms: Simple and varied in size and condition; explicitly book an air-conditioned category if needed.

• Cleanliness: Generally positive ratings outweigh scattered complaints about cleaning details.

• Service: Reception operates around the clock; staff earn strong overall marks despite occasional uneven encounters.

• Amenities: PragaTu restaurant, buffet breakfast, free Wi-Fi, meeting rooms and an underground garage.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast is not included in every booking; parking and pets cost extra, and garage spaces are limited.
