Hotels in ValenciaA practical 4-star business and events hotel outside central Valencia
7.3/10
Good for metro access and workouts, less convincing as a four-star spa escape.
Olympia is a practical 4-star business and events hotel in Alboraya, rather than a polished spa retreat. It's a good pick for travelers happy to use the nearby Palmaret metro to explore Valencia. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms, helpful staff and the substantial gym, which is included for hotel guests. Those basics make it a useful base, despite an increasingly dated feel.
The trade-offs are tired bathrooms, mixed buffet feedback and several recent reports of unreliable lifts. Crucially, the hotel says its swimming pool is closed from August 31 through October 12, 2026, for maintenance and structural works; confirm reopening before booking. Normally, swimming is restricted to designated sessions, while spa access costs extra unless included in your package. We'd skip it for a pool-focused break or if you want central sightseeing on foot.

Best for: business and event travelers; metro-based Valencia sightseeing; travelers who prioritize a substantial gym
Watch out for: pool closure through October 12, 2026; dated bathrooms and reported lift problems; restricted swim sessions and extra-cost spa
Location: Residential Alboraya, close to Palmaret metro; neither central Valencia nor beachfront.
Rooms: Often praised for space and comfort, but dated bathrooms and general wear recur in recent feedback.
Cleanliness: Generally a strength across recent reviews, though not uniformly praised.
Service: Helpful reception and housekeeping receive frequent praise; dining service is less consistent.
Amenities: Substantial included gym, restaurant and paid spa; pool currently closed, with timed access normally.
Fees and surprises: Parking costs extra; check spa inclusion, pool reopening and the 4 p.m. check-in time.
