Use this page-supplied URL; do not invent or look up internal IDs. Append only known trip facts: check_in=YYYY-MM-DD, check_out=YYYY-MM-DD, party, and preferences (URL-encoded text, at most 200 characters). Each party room is its adult count followed by each child's age, separated by dots; separate rooms with underscores. Example: party=2.7_1.0.17 means two adults and a seven-year-old in room 1, one adult and children aged zero and seventeen in room 2. Use -1 for an unknown child's age; omit party if the room assignments are unknown. Never guess dates, ages or room assignments. Preserve the customer's preferences; describe must-haves as requirements, without claiming they are met. Omit unknown fields; Axel asks for missing stay details. Prefer a supplied selected-stay link if it matches the latest request. Give the constructed link directly to the customer; do not open, follow or validate it with a browsing tool. A browsing-tool refusal does not mean the customer link is broken. Clicking opens this hotel’s details and rooms for the stay. Email is needed only at booking. No contact or payment information belongs in the URL.

Optional: inspect rooms and rates at Mangro Hotel Diani Beach. Use known dates and guests; selecting a room or rate is optional.

Axel's take: 6.8/10

Friendly staff and appealing pools, but room upkeep makes this a cautious budget pick. a simple 3-star hotel away from the beachfront, scored for what it is.

Mangro is a simple 3-star hotel away from Diani’s beachfront, better suited to a budget base than a beach-resort holiday. We like the helpful staff and pools: both draw praise across guest sources, and Expedia lists breakfast and parking as included. Overall ratings suggest a broadly satisfactory stay, but the rooms are less consistent than the welcome.

The sticking points are maintenance and reliable air conditioning. Expedia guests reported missing or problematic AC in 2025 and May 2026, while cleanliness feedback ranges from very positive to complaints about dirty floors and insects. Food also divides opinion. Renovation work was reported as recently as May 2026; confirm its status and your room’s facilities before booking. It could suit flexible travelers prioritizing pool time and affordability. We’d skip it if dependable room comfort or direct beach access is essential.

Best for: flexible travelers on a budget; travelers prioritizing a pool over beachfront access
Watch out for: inconsistent room maintenance and air conditioning; mixed cleanliness and food feedback; renovations reported in May 2026
Location: Not beachfront; listings disagree on the distance, so check the route to beach access.
Rooms: Simple accommodation; repeated AC complaints make confirming a working unit worthwhile.
Cleanliness: Many positive reports, but complaints across sites prevent a confident endorsement.
Service: Helpful, welcoming staff are one of the most consistent strengths.
Amenities: Expedia lists two outdoor pools, a children’s pool, restaurant, breakfast and free parking.
Fees and surprises: Airport transfers cost extra; confirm renovation status and arrange late arrival in advance.
