Hotels in TurinA practical, somewhat dated 4-star business hotel outside Turin
7.6/10
A sensible suburban base with spacious rooms, but limited four-star polish.
Blu Hotel is a practical 4-star business hotel in Collegno, better suited to motorists and work trips than a romantic Turin weekend. Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise spacious, clean rooms, helpful staff and a generous breakfast. Free private parking and an in-house restaurant make it a convenient base, with the metro roughly a ten-minute walk away. We'd choose it for straightforward comfort rather than style.
The main compromise is condition: recent guests still describe dated interiors and maintenance shortcomings, so expect less polish than the four-star label suggests. Central Turin requires a metro ride, not a stroll. One important uncertainty: OpenPNRR lists a student-residence conversion project at this address, while the official website still markets hotel stays. Confirm continued hotel operation and any works before booking. We'd skip it for a special occasion or sightseeing entirely on foot.

Best for: business travelers in western Turin; motorists wanting free parking; families needing spacious rooms
Watch out for: dated interiors and maintenance inconsistencies; outside central Turin; student-residence conversion project; verify operating status
Location: Collegno business district; roughly ten minutes on foot to the metro, then onward to Turin.
Rooms: Generally spacious and comfortable, but recent reviews indicate dated decor and uneven upkeep.
Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and recent Tripadvisor feedback.
Service: Usually helpful and welcoming; staff receive stronger feedback than the property's condition.
Amenities: Restaurant, free Wi-Fi, meeting facilities and free private parking subject to availability.
Fees and surprises: Breakfast may cost extra; confirm any disruption or operating changes associated with the conversion project.
