Naala Tulum is a mid-range boutique hotel, not a beach resort, and we think it’s a strong pick for exploring Tulum without paying for a beachfront address. Its leafy courtyard and rooftop pools give it character, while Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Balcony rooms are worth considering for the extra space. Restaurants and shops nearby make the location practical.
