Le Germain Maple Leaf Square is an upscale 4-star boutique hotel that gets the important things right: roomy accommodation, comfortable beds and genuinely helpful service. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the cleanliness and staff, while strong overall ratings back up that enthusiasm. We'd put it high on the list for concerts, games or a downtown weekend, especially with Union Station and the waterfront close by.

The trade-offs are more about fit than failing basics. This is Toronto's busy sports district, not a quiet residential neighbourhood, and there's no pool.
