This hotel is such a good find if it is your first time in Japan! It is in such a good location and is walking distance to and from anything: Senso-ji temple, shopping malls, convenience stores, pharmacies, and restaurants!

hotel MONday Asakusa is a compact 3-star that gets the important basics right: helpful staff, well-kept rooms and easy access to Asakusa’s temples and dining streets. Booking.com and Expedia both give staff and cleanliness particularly strong marks. We’d choose it for a sightseeing-heavy stay rather than time spent lounging in the room. Sensō-ji is 4 minutes on foot, making early visits especially practical.
The main compromise is space. Standard twins and kings measure 17.71 square meters, and recent guests repeatedly describe restricted luggage and walking space. The 30.44-square-meter family category is a materially different proposition. Standard rooms have showers rather than tubs, while full housekeeping is not necessarily daily. The other catch is transport: the nearer Asakusa station serves the Tsukuba Express, not the subway lines visitors may expect.

The hotel fronts Kototoi-dori, with a bus stop outside and Lawson across the road. Use the marked crossings on this traffic-carrying street. Hisago Street–Hanayashiki is 1 minute on foot, and Sensō-ji is 4 minutes away: the defining advantage is having the temple district close without sleeping amid its busiest shopping lanes.
