Hotels in TobagoA modern mid-range city hotel in Scarborough, not a beach resort
8.3/10
A strong Scarborough base with welcoming staff, rooftop views and some maintenance niggles.
Comfort Inn & Suites Tobago is a modern mid-range city hotel, not a beachfront resort, and it's a strong pick for a practical Scarborough stay. Recent Expedia, Booking.com and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and the included breakfast. The rooftop pool and ocean-view restaurant give it more appeal than a basic chain hotel, while complimentary airport, seaport and scheduled beach shuttles are useful extras.
The trade-off is that beach days require transport rather than a stroll from your room. Recent reviews also flag minor wear around the pool and in rooms, plus occasional noisy or leaking air-conditioning. Expedia lists weekly housekeeping, so confirm cleaning arrangements for longer stays. We'd choose it for town access and comfortable downtime; we'd skip it for a walk-everywhere beach holiday or consistently polished resort facilities.
