Elmina is a small, design-led boutique hotel rather than a full-service luxury stay. Its strongest asset is the location: Jaffa’s flea market, restaurants and beach are all an easy walk away. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests praise the comfortable beds, distinctive interiors and helpful service. We'd consider it a good base for travelers spending most of their time exploring.

The trade-off is consistency. Booking.com’s much larger review pool is less enthusiastic than Expedia’s, and housekeeping and maintenance complaints recur across Booking.com and Google reviews.
