Quest North Sydney is a modern 4-star apartment hotel that gets the practical things unusually right. We'd strongly consider it for work trips or longer stays: recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable, well-equipped accommodation. Victoria Cross metro is close by, making this a useful sightseeing base even though you're staying north of the harbour rather than in the CBD.

Choose your room carefully: studios have kitchenettes and access to shared laundry, while one-bedroom apartments add full kitchens, separate living space and in-room washing facilities. There's a gym and sauna, but no hotel pool. Parking costs extra and needs planning, with limited onsite spaces and nearby alternatives. We'd skip it if a pool or a full-service hotel experience matters more than self-catering convenience.
