Metro Marlow is an older, fairly basic 4-star whose strongest selling point is convenience: Capitol Theatre opposite, Chinatown nearby and easy access to Central Station and light rail. It's a sensible short-stay pick if location matters more than polish. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, and the rooftop pool and buffet breakfast add useful extras.
The catch is uneven room condition. Booking.com and Tripadvisor reviews describe worn bathrooms, inconsistent housekeeping, noise and unreliable Wi-Fi, alongside plenty of clean, comfortable stays. There are also individual recent pest reports on Expedia and Tripadvisor—not enough to establish a hotel-wide problem, but worth weighing.
