Hotels in St. LouisA practical 3-star all-suite extended-stay hotel west of downtown
6.8/10
Useful family suites and a praised breakfast, but upkeep is too uneven.
This is a practical 3-star extended-stay hotel west of downtown, strongest when you need a kitchen and room for several people. Studio, one- and two-bedroom suites make it useful for families and longer visits. Expedia guests regularly praise the spacious layouts, helpful staff and included hot breakfast; Tripadvisor guests also give the breakfast team credit. We'd consider it for space and self-catering rather than a polished city break.
The catch is consistency. Recent reviews across Expedia and Tripadvisor describe worn interiors, maintenance faults and uneven cleaning, alongside plenty of clean, comfortable stays. Smoke odors recur despite the smoke-free policy, and some guests report highway noise. Parking costs extra, and Marriott lists housekeeping every other day. We'd skip it if meticulous cleanliness, quiet sleep or a central sightseeing location matters more than suite space.

Best for: families needing separate bedrooms; longer stays with self-catering; travelers driving to downtown events
Watch out for: uneven cleaning and maintenance; smoke odors and possible highway noise; paid parking and alternate-day housekeeping
Location: West of the downtown core; more convenient for driving than doorstep sightseeing.
Rooms: Spacious kitchen-equipped suites, but guests repeatedly describe dated finishes and maintenance faults.
Cleanliness: Many clean-room reports, counterbalanced by recurring recent complaints about floors, bathrooms and odors.
Service: Breakfast staff draw consistent praise; front-desk help and housekeeping follow-through vary.
Amenities: Included hot breakfast, indoor pool, fitness center and guest laundry; pool upkeep receives mixed feedback.
Fees and surprises: On-site parking and pets incur fees; scheduled housekeeping is every other day.
