#6 of 9 hotels in I-95 & Outlets by Axel's take. I-95 & Outlets is #6 of 6 places to stay in St. Augustine. The best hotels in I-95 & Outlets, ranked · Where to stay in St. Augustine

Axel's take: 7.8/10

A practical budget stop with friendly staff, but rooms show their age. a no-frills 2-star motel near I-95 and the outlets, scored for what it is.

This is a no-frills 2-star motel near I-95, best treated as a practical overnight base rather than a destination hotel. We'd pick it for a budget road trip: recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise friendly staff and clean rooms, while Booking.com feedback also favors the service. Free parking, included breakfast and an outdoor pool make it a useful package for the price.

The trade-off is an older property, with some guests calling out tired bathrooms and finishes that need refreshing. Breakfast is useful rather than a reason to book, with several recent reviewers finding the selection limited. Rooms open onto exterior corridors, and there's no elevator; request the ground floor if stairs are difficult. We'd skip it for a car-free historic-district stay or if modern room condition matters more than value.

Best for: budget road-trippers; outlet shoppers with a car; short sightseeing stays
Watch out for: dated bathrooms and finishes; no elevator; historic district requires a drive
Location: Convenient for I-95, outlet shopping and nearby eateries, not walking tours downtown.
Rooms: Basic exterior-corridor rooms with refrigerators and microwaves; some finishes need refreshing.
Cleanliness: Recent feedback is predominantly positive about room cleanliness.
Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff are the most consistent strength across sources.
Amenities: Outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi, included breakfast and guest laundry; breakfast selection draws mixed feedback.
Fees and surprises: Parking is free; pets incur a nightly charge, with two permitted per room and a 25-pound limit each.
