Hotels in Siem ReapA stylish 3-star hostel-hotel with dorms and private rooms in central Siem Reap
8.9/10
Strong budget comfort and a rooftop pool, but choose your room carefully.
The Twizt is a stylish 3-star hostel-hotel, not a conventional hotel, and it's a strong pick for budget comfort in central Siem Reap. Recent Tripadvisor, Expedia and Hostelworld guests repeatedly praise the cleanliness, helpful staff and comfortable beds. The rooftop pool and AKAS restaurant add plenty beyond the basics, while Pub Street, markets and restaurants are walkable. We'd choose it for a comfortable base between temple trips rather than a guaranteed backpacker party scene.
Room selection matters: some private rooms still share bathrooms, and some accommodation lacks windows. Check the exact category rather than assuming “private” means en suite. Reports of rooftop music and slamming doors make it less certain for light sleepers, although many guests describe quiet stays. We'd skip it if guaranteed silence or an especially sociable hostel atmosphere is essential.
