Axel's take: 8.8/10

Generous rooms and helpful staff make this a strong central Seoul base. a comfortable mid-range business hotel near City Hall, scored for what it is.

ENA is a comfortable mid-range business hotel that gets the important things right: room to spread out, dependable cleanliness and an easy sightseeing location near City Hall station. Booking.com, Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the spacious rooms and helpful staff, with recent reviews keeping that picture intact. We'd put it high on the list for families and first-time Seoul visitors who want comfort rather than luxury-hotel theatre.

The trade-offs are modest public spaces and a pool and gym that are useful extras, not resort facilities. Air-conditioning and heating operate seasonally, so temperature-sensitive sleepers should check arrangements. Nearby construction was still mentioned in July 2026 reviews; ask about current work and room placement before booking. We'd skip it for a grand lobby or a facilities-led getaway, but it's a strong practical base for exploring Seoul.

• Best for: families wanting spacious rooms; first-time Seoul visitors; travelers prioritizing transit and sightseeing

• Watch out for: seasonally controlled cooling and heating; nearby construction reported in July 2026; modest public spaces and leisure facilities

• Location: Near City Hall station, with restaurants nearby and Namdaemun Market and Deoksugung Palace within walking reach.

• Rooms: Standard rooms are officially 26 square meters; guests consistently appreciate the space and comfortable beds.

• Cleanliness: A clear strength across recent Booking.com, Expedia and Trip.com reviews.

• Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff receive consistent praise, including for English-language assistance.

• Amenities: Indoor pool, small gym and Italian restaurant; bring a swimming cap and check pool maintenance dates.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast and limited valet parking cost extra; heating and cooling are seasonal, and current construction should be checked.
