Axel's take: 9.2/10

A standout market-side boutique for warm service, comfortable rooms and Elliott Bay views. an upscale 4-star boutique hotel inside Pike Place Market, scored for what it is.

Inn at the Market is an upscale 4-star boutique that delivers especially well on location, cleanliness and personal service. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise helpful staff and comfortable, spotless rooms, with strong ratings backing that enthusiasm. The hotel says its Northwest-inspired interiors were refreshed in 2025. We'd pick it for exploring Seattle on foot, with the guest-only rooftop deck adding Elliott Bay views even if you haven't booked a water-view room.

You're paying partly for the address, not a full-service luxury setup. Breakfast and valet parking cost extra, and gym or pool access means buying a pass to the nearby Seattle Athletic Club. Some guests report street or neighboring-room noise, though many describe quiet stays. It's a strong choice for couples and first-time visitors; we'd look elsewhere if extensive on-site facilities or guaranteed hush matter most.

• Best for: first-time Seattle visitors; couples on a city break; food lovers exploring Pike Place Market

• Watch out for: breakfast and valet parking cost extra; gym and pool are off-site with paid passes; occasional street and neighboring-room noise

• Location: Inside Pike Place Market, with restaurants and waterfront attractions easily reached on foot.

• Rooms: Refreshed interiors and comfortable beds; book a water-view category if the outlook matters.

• Cleanliness: Consistently strong guest feedback, supported by excellent cleanliness ratings.

• Service: Helpful, welcoming staff are a recurring highlight across Tripadvisor and Expedia.

• Amenities: Guest-only view deck and in-room dining; fitness and swimming require paid access nearby.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast and valet parking are extra; garage vehicle-size restrictions apply.
