Convenient shopping and friendly staff, but aging rooms make this a qualified pick. a simple, limited-service chain hotel beside South Waco shopping, scored for what it is.

This simple, limited-service Hampton is a practical base for drivers, with Central Texas Marketplace nearby and Baylor and Magnolia a short drive away. Free hot breakfast, parking and Wi-Fi keep the essentials covered; rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, and plenty report clean, comfortable stays. We'd consider it for a straightforward overnight stop rather than a hotel-centered getaway.

The reservation is room condition.
